CR is a not-for-profit organisation working for other not-for-profits, delivering more than $20m in annual procurement savings for Members.

Our role at CR is to grow, share and leverage our various strengths with those around us we exist to serve. I am delighted to announce our latest gift to our community, NFPNews.

With close to 20 years experience publishing daily news online, CR is proud to introduce this new service – NFPNews – from Church Resources to our valued Members. NFPNews has been designed to create a community among our CR Members by bringing you news that we believe matters most to all those working in the Australian not-for-profit sector. Each Tuesday afternoon we will bring you locally and globally sourced articles aggregated, edited, and presented by our CR Publishing team.

You are part of our 18,000 strong foundation readership, so I hope you enjoy these compelling stories, images and video and that they enrich your knowledge to what is happening around us.

Importantly, you can see NFPNews not just via email, but through our Facebook platform, which makes sure the carefully curated material is accessible and easily shared with others. That’s something we encourage you to do.

As a CR Member, this service is free; it has been developed, and delivered to you each week, to reflect how much we value your support. Not only will you enjoy a concise, hand-selected mix of news, you will get access to our sponsors unique services, and exclusive offers.

There is also a practical side to NFPNews. We want to create and foster a community amongst CR Members, by launching NFPNews we also launch our own NFP job advertisement capability. Below you will see a series of job ads, where you too can now place your vacant roles, and find your next star recruit.

Our valued partner in NFPNews

CR is delighted to partner in this new innovation with Australian Catholic Superannuation Retirement Fund (ACSRF). Australian Catholic Super is open to anyone eligible for superannuation, and as an industry fund, they exist solely for the benefit of, and provide profits back to their members.

Australian Catholic Super is helping NFPNews become a reality, and create an opportunity to share with you their expertise to help make sure we are set up for the future with superannuation, financial and retirement planning.

Congratulations on being a part of the first edition of NFPNews. Please share this publication with your colleagues, family and friends. I look forward to your feedback (write to NFPNews  at nfpnews@cr.org.au) and would like to  take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support as a valued CR Member and reader of our CR publications.
